Learning
We have divided the course materials for a total of 400 hours of learning. You will receive 200 hours of recorded online classes and lectures and will require another 200 hours to complete assignments, solve subject-wise questions, prepare and sit for mock tests, etc. You will also study and solve assignments and case studies for Excel-based modelling assignment.
After successful completion of CM1, you will be able to understand and follow the basic principles of actuarial modelling. You will also learn how to describe, interpret, and discuss the theories on the rate of interest.
CM1 also teaches you the necessary expertise to describe, interpret, and discuss mathematical techniques that are necessary to model and value cashflows contingent on mortality and morbidity risk.

All of our study materials can be accessed from our cloud servers. You can also use our Android or iOS app to access online lectures, assignments, and papers.
Assessment
An assessment follows the course, consisting of an Excel-based modelling assignment (for a period of one hour forty-five minutes), and a written examination (of three hours fifteen minutes).
